LUVRS are Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalists and producers JAFÉ (Japhet Montas-Paulino) and DeModa (David Johnson). Self-taught and self-released, the pair crafts an infectious blend of soul, funk, electro and rock set for those long, hazy, rose-hued nights.
Their debut single, “Lady,” was unveiled at the end of 2019 drawing support from This Song Is Sick and Dancing Astronaut with the latter saying they have, “a unique talent of blending funk, rock, soul and electro in an absolutely infectious and digestible way.”
Before formally pairing as LUVRS, JAFÉ and DeModa collaborated on the single “Her(e)” which was championed by YourEDM, Fame Magazine, EDM Sauce and more highlighting their “perky riffs, smooth builds and dynamic flow.” Also notably, this serves as the first bit of new, original music for DeModa (aside from “Her(e)”) since his The Line of Best Fit-backed single “Downtown Glow” which has amassed millions of listens worldwide.
