Following on from his debut album SS18 last year on his own label Riotville Records, Snavs returns to Tiesto’s esteemed Musical Freedom label with new single Epoch.
Spanning a variety of genres across bass, trap and dubstep, Epoch touches on Snavs’ skilful ability to experiment with different elements. Weaving hard-hitting drums, surprising accelerations and epic synth breakdowns, Epoch is transformed into a mind-bending dance weapon. More than excited to be returning to Musical Freedom Snavs explains:
“Epoch was the first track I started, after releasing my debut album last year. I was inspired by the dark and cold winter producing this track, laden with heavy drops, gloomy vocals and massive melancholy vibes.”
Since his debut release in 2013 with 808%, Snavs has continued to push genre boundaries and rise above the ranks. As a producer and DJ who incorporates forward-thinking approaches with dynamic sound designs, Snavs has been able to release originals on the likes of Monstercat, STMPD RCRDS, Mad Decent, Kannibalen Records and Spinnin’ Records to name a few as well as receiving continued DJ backing from Diplo, DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, Major Lazer, The Chainsmokers and of course Tiesto himself. Breaking out of Denmark and the underground, Snavs holds great expectations as he continues to attract more and more global appeal with his signature sound.
