Following a recent hot streak which has seen the duo release as part of Oliver Heldens’ Heldeep DJ Tools EP, Wolsh & Sunroi are once again flexing the muscles of their powerful production prowess with new single ‘Bass Got Know’. Packing a punch with an aptly-titled ‘bass in your face’ feel, the single is set for release on the legendary Sosumi Records, label of global Groove maestro, Kryder.
Making his name as one of the biggest artists in his native Brazil, Wolsh has taken South America by storm during the past half-decade, amassing support from the likes of Tiesto, Martin Garrix, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Alok, Vintage Culture,
EDX and Nervo just to name a few! Bringing his unrivalled energy and charisma to the stages of major clubs and festivals such as Laroc, Green Valley, and Tomorrowland, the Latin superstar is certainly no stranger to the Sosumi family, having previously released ‘Never Hide’ and ‘All Day’ with Larry Mendes on the imprint, before Sosumi’s 2020 rebirth.
Likewise, Sunroi’s meteoric surge shows no signs of slowing, with the producer’s rapid and relentless rise heralding previous releases alongside Wolsh, such as ‘On My Way’,andHeldeep’s‘WeRolling’.Cementing a firm reputation as a tried-and-trusted duo, the magic crafted in the studio by the pair is perfectly embodied in the aural delight of ‘BassGotKnow’,are cord packed with their signature style frumbling bass textures and a frenetic build. Exploding into life on the drop, the track’s high-energy style is sure to serve as a serious weapon in various tracklists across the globe as live-streaming continues to boom during the second half of the current pandemic.
Launched in 2014 by Kryder, Sosumi Records is known for championing a fresh new wave of electronic talent in a saturated industry. The imprint has also been pioneering high-quality musical output fully royalty free with no limitation. Kryder’s creation has hosted an incredible amount of legendary parties, from Miami to Amsterdam creating the trend of groove music and regularly celebrating latin sounds from the likes of David Novacek, Crusy, Cato Anaya, Al Sharif, Alessa, and many more.
After more than 4 years of incredible releases, Sosumi’s brief hiatus in 2018 was dispelled earlier this year when the label returned with a bang! With an exciting range of productions set for release across the forthcoming Autumn/Winter period, the release of ‘Bass Got Know’ (LISTEN HERE) marks an exciting new chapter in the label’s legacy!
