13 Releases ‘Uppercut’ + Announces ‘Old World Order’ EP out Feb 1st via Mad Decent
13 is an anonymous, all analog bass producer who has been making massive waves in the dance and festival scene since first appearing in the spring of 2017. With a recent appearance on REZZ’s acclaimed sophomore album Certain Kind of Magic and their joint single “DRUGS!&rquo; soaring past 3.5 million streams on Spotify alone, his original tracks are regularly played out at festivals and clubs by the likes of Bassnectar, REZZ and more as the rising artist continues making waves across the electronic and dance music communities.
The incognito artist today announces his anticipated Old World Order EP and shares the lead single “Uppercut.” Produced exclusively with analog synthesizers and gear including a Moog Sub 37, Behringer Model D, and bass guitar, 13’s Old World Order is set for release February 1st, 2019 via Mad Decent.
13 is set to perform the Beyond Wonderland festival in Southern California this March, with more major festival appearances soon to be announced.
13 started making a name for himself in the music scene after the release of his debut single “Eradicate” in May of 2017. Since then he has spent countless hours in the studio working with analog synthesizers to create a distinct and recognizable sound of his own, garnering early support from Diplo’s label Mad Decent, Deadmau5’ label Mau5trap and the powerhouse producer Rezz. 13 showcased his unique sound in his hit collaboration with Rezz titled “DRUGS!” (that has garnered over 3.7 million plays on Spotify alone) which he then followed up on with a second collaboration titled “The Crazy Ones” which was featured on Rezz’s acclaimed sophomore album Certain Kind Of Magic released on Mau5strap in Summer of 2018. His next release comes highly anticipated as he continues to tease fans with his official remix for Limp Bizkit’s single “Nookie” releasing on Interscope Records.
13 is a rising star in the dance music scene and has been making appearances on Rezz’s “Certain Kind of Magic Tour” as well as a handful of select headline shows.
