The Federal Empire Release ‘Perfect Strangers’ & Announce Tour with Deorro

The Federal Empire is an LA-based alternative/electronic band made up of Chad Wolf (multi-platinum selling Carolina Liar) and McKay Stevens (grammy nominated songwriter) that is at the forefront of creating a hybrid of music between the alternative/americana and dance world. They’ve played shows with bands like X Ambassadors and Cold War Kids and toured across the United States and Canada. Their latest release “Shot By My Own Gun” is a collaboration with Sam Feldt and prior to that they released the hugely successful “Hold On And Believe” with Martin Garrix which earned over 15 million plays. Garrix debuted it at Ultra Music Festival and they went on to play it live with him during his DJ Mag #1 celebration party in Las Vegas. Their songs have reached top 5 on the Spotify Viral charts and they’ve reached #1 on Hype Machine several times. The Duo also announced today that they’ll be embarking on Deorro’s “Existence” Bus Tour starting this month!

“The new single ‘Perfect Strangers’ deals with the progression of dating someone and then becoming perfect strangers. It juxtaposes the closeness you have with the individual at one point in time to the space that opens up between individuals when they start drifting.” -The Federal Empire
