Pluko Unveils Odesza-Inspired Track ‘TIME + ENERGY’

Continuing his impressive set of releases this month, pluko debuts a new chill-wave inspired single ‘TIME +ENERGY’ out on October 16th via his label Splendid Society. The track follows his recent singles ‘feelings’ with Marlhy and ‘redux’ with Chopsoe.

‘TIME+ENERGY’ sees pluko render a billowing and euphonious tune that is perfectly balanced with light-hearted choral melodies and instantly charged with chill-trap beats. Mixing a tantalizing array of chimes with feathery textures, and powdery drum hits, ‘TIME + ENERGY’ explodes with so much light and color that you’d expect from a pluko track. The single radiates a similar vibe to a typical Odesza track, further exemplifying the young producer’s ability to create a stadium-filling, chill-wave hit.

It’s no surprise that pluko is experimenting with the genre, who released his 2018 debut album ‘sixteen’ through Odesza’s label Foreign Family Collective and toured with the band following its release. He explored this type of sound with earlier singles ‘Feel The Fire (Breath Vocal Mix)’, ‘Lost’, and his remix of Opia’s ‘YDU’, which shows his effortless progression into what has now become one of his best releases to date with ‘TIME+ENERGY’.

At only 20-years-old, Hollidaysburg, PA native pluko (aka Sam Martinsen) has racked in over 70 million streams across platforms and released chart-topping albums including his recent May album COLOR BLIND (that hit #7 on the iTunes Charts and #13 on Apple Music Charts). He’s graced the stages at world-renowned festivals including Coachella, Firefly Festival, Electric Forest and Ultra, as well as toured across the globe. Last year, pluko launched Splendid Society – a record label, collective, and fashion brand.

Set to become a fan-favorite, ‘TIME+ENERGY’ will be available on all streaming platforms Friday, October 9th.
