PLS&TY – Good Vibes (feat. Cosmos & Creature)
PLS&TY, the LA-based producer who conquered airwaves last Spring with his collaboration with Autolaser, “Hiding From The Rain,” now returns with his second solo single, “Good Vibes” featuring vocalists Cosmos & Creature, which is available via PRMD Music on all digital platforms today.
PLS&TY’s new single follows his official remix of Elephante’s “Catching On” and his collaboration with Autolaser, “Hiding From The Rain.” Both quickly went viral, with the former reaching #1 on Hype Machine and the latter earning over 12 million combined plays. “Good Vibes” is a luscious blend of future bass and pop, filled with lush synths, Cosmos & Creature’s warm, comforting vocals, and of course, plenty of good vibes.
PLS&TY is quickly becoming one of the most distinguished stars of the Future Bass world today. Remixing classic RnB and hip-hop tunes to sublime effect, the rising forward-thinking producer has already amassed tens of millions plays on Soundcloud and hit the #1 spot on the Hype Machine charts an unprecedented nine times – and all this in the space of just one year. With influential tastemaker blogs profiling his work on a regular basis, releases for distinguished labels like OWSLA, Dim Mak, Disruptor Records/Sony, and Island Records, his chilled, wavy electronic production has won him fans around the world. His music has been featured on BBC Radio 1 and Diplo & Friends; his remix of Genevieve’s ‘Colors’ was placed in the Hershey’s ‘Hello Happy’ TV commercial; and K-Pop stars GOT7 performed to his remix of Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’ at the 2015 SBS Awards Festival in front of a TV audience of millions.
PRMD Music is a brand synonymous with creative evolution. Pronounced ‘Pyramid,’ the past three years has seen the imprint expand far beyond the remits of electronic music, scoping new and exciting talent from all corners of the industry. 2016 sees the label continue to expand in new and exciting directions, making leaps and bounds with Swedish hip-hop artist, iSHi, and modern soul prospect, Buster Moe. In addition to playing home to one of Sweden’s biggest dance exports to date, AVICII, the label has shown an ability to break artists with lasting impact. With Swedish duo Cazzette collectively streaming more than 240m times to date and scoring two Billboard Dance #1s under the label’s watchful eye, PRMD Music’s ICONS sub label continues to channel the cutting edge of electronic music, with such acts as Hotel Garuda, Syn Cole and Tundran.
