SPAG HEDDY & RICO ACT Release New Collab ‘NOODLE NECK’
Spag Heddy, also known as Mischa Reining or the Spaghetti Monster, burst onto the dubstep scene back in 2011. Wielding sound design that was not yet widespread in the industry, Spag Heddy took his rightful place as a leader in the genre. In the years since, Spag Heddy has remained a consistent figure in the dubstep scene, mixing together only the freshest ingredients to create a signature recipe that he self-describes as tomato bass. Spag Heddy’s latest dish is called “Noodle Neck” with Rico Act, and will be available everywhere on Friday, February 1s t .
“The comparison of a neck to a noodle is funny to me and the song idea has been in my mind for a long time. I wanted to make it a real hard-hitting bouncy song that asks for headbanging. When I heard Rico Act on some tracks I knew that he was the one that could do the vocal the best and bring the energy level to the max. Be advised; dry and uncooked noodles do snap, so get yourself real wet and saucy to enjoy the full Noodle Neck experience safely.” – Spag Heddy
Spag Heddy’s career reached a boiling point when Never Say Die label-head SKisM took notice of his exceptional abilities in the dubstep kitchen. The release of his six-track EP Oh My! on Never Say Die gave Spag Heddy worldwide appeal, and he has remained a frequent representative of the label ever since. His subsequent releases on Never Say Die include a significant output in 2017 with singles “Samir” and “Dream and Disaster,” and the Meatball Mafia EP. In 2016, Spag Heddy was featured on the remix EP for “Don’t Let Me Down” by the Chainsmokers, and earned a placement on Borgore’s label Buygore with the release of the OG Meatball EP . Most recently, Spag teamed up with Slander and Elle Vee on “Running to You,” released on Monstercat.
“Noodle Neck” will be Spag Heddy’s first release of 2019, with many more to come. Keep it locked for your next helping of tomato bass from the spaghetti monster himself.
