Night Drive’s Debut LP is Post-Punk Synth Pop Perfection

So, when I heard Night Drive’s new LP I was instantly obsessed! The Texas based duo’s self-titled album just premiered over on The Line of Best Fit and it’s post-punk synth pop perfection. Think the vintage noir stylings of 80’s acts like Depeche Mode and the eclectic electronic tunes of Interpol. And I cannot get enough of the cinematic sci-fi soundtrack influences in there, too.

Lots of eyes on this Austin/Houston based duo who also like to collect Sherlock Holmes radio programs from the 1930s and research Ancient Egyptian artifacts – their album has garnered attention from the likes of Paper, Spin, Billboard, Electronic Musician and more, plus they have hit the top of the HypeMachine charts several times in the last few weeks and had Classixx officially remix their lead track, “Rise and Fall”.
