Lévie Release Alt-Pop Single ‘Trouble’
Lévie (pronounced leh-vee) is an alternative pop singer from Orlando, FL. The Brazilian-born vocalist brings elements of rock and R&B into an alternative pop sound with some serious 80’s nostalgia.
His latest song, “Trouble”, is a bitter look at teenage romance. The buzzing synths and lush pads combined with an in-your-face rock beat bring together the tension and energy of an angry boy who has been fooled into something he thought was real.
The song is set to be released on Monday, May 1st, on SoundCloud, and Friday, May 5th, on Spotify and all other streaming services.
Lévie’s soaring vocals help give his tracks an epic feel reminiscent of Phil Collins, and he brings that energy onto the stage having performed in just about every major venue in his hometown of Orlando, including Camping World stadium as the pre-game house band for Orlando City Soccer in 2016.
A Brazilian immigrant, he used music and television to quickly adapt to his new culture, watching old episodes of Saved By The Bell to help him learn English in just 6 months.
“Saved By The Bell really helped me adapt to a new country. I still have the biggest crush on Tiffany Amber Thiessen” says Lévie.
His original takes on chart-toppers, as well as collaborations with electronic artists have garnered him a loyal following online, boasting over 100 thousand streams combined on Soundcloud and YouTube with only one original song,”Paralyzed,” released so far. He is set to headline BackBooth on May 12th to celebrate the release of the new single with a self-curated event combining music, fashion and art.
