“The song is a hybrid between my electronic and rock influences, i tried to keep all the sounds as organic as possible within an electronic structure leading to a new and more personal sound. Anuka clearly emphasize the mood and add the energy with her vocals. Im happy we finally did a song together.” -Khamsin
After being called on by some of the best producers around the world to remix their songs like Point Point’s “Life In Grey,” Mura Masa & Charli XCX’s “One Night,” and Zhu’s “Hometown Girl,” and reaching over 10 million plays on his Soundcloud in one year, 22 year old France-based producer Khamsin is announcing his first release via Lowly Palace. This comes as his first single following his 2016 ‘Leaving’ EP which earned over 11 million plays, including an upload on MrSuicideSheep which has over 6 million alone. Most recently, in the Fall he released a collaboration with KRANE titled “Feel It” on Dim Mak Records. After that, Khamsin locked himself in the studio where he’s finishing his next EP which is sure to showcase his ongoing growth as a producer who uses a mix of power and a plethora of textures to speak directly with the intellect.
He’s also notably part of the French production collective Slow Hours with Rusty Hook, Kidswaste, and others. Their remixes of What So Not and Ganz’ “Lone” and Petit Biscuit’s “Sunset Lover” have accumulated over 7.5 million plays across platforms alone.
