Ganja White Night Reveal LP Details “The Origins,” and Self-Curated National Tour Dates Announced for 2018

Belgian dub bass duo and wobble brothers, Ganja White Night (Benjamin “Bamby” Bayeul and Charlie “Erwan” Dodson) kick off 2018 with a new concept album, The Origins, to be released on their own label, SubCarbon Records, plus a self-curated tour featuring SubCarbon labelmates Dirt Monkey and Subtronics plus special guest Caspa, Opiuo & Downlink will join the Wobble Brothers on a number of dates in a unique live setting. Each concert on the tour will open with a B2B DJ set from the roster before Ganja White Night’s performance featuring live instrumentation and editing/remixing. A closely guarded opening performance is not to be missed.

The concept of the upcoming album was teased in a new promo video by Graffiti artist Ebo and surpassed 100,000 views within days of posting. In a style that evokes animated supergroup Gorillaz, Ganja White Night and Ebo’s video for The Origins tells the story of Mr. Wobble, a superhero who creates music. The Origins is the third video produced by Ganja White Night with Ebo, following their collaborations on “Wobble Master” and “LFO Requiem” which wowed audiences online and worldwide. “When we saw the people’s reaction after the first music video, ‘Wobble Master,’ we knew people were expecting a sequel,” they say. Dirt Monkey recently remixed Rusko’s “Woo Boost” and Subtronics has an EP in the works which is set to release with Subcarbon.

Deeply influenced by hip-hop and deftly melding reggae and dubstep into their own hybrid dub bass sound, Ganja White Night formed in Brussels over a decade ago. With support from an ardent community for a string of wall-rattling hits, the duo will soon surpass two million streams on Spotify, especially once The Origins is out. “I’m not the least bit hesitant to say that this new album is going to be the one that we’re the most happy about to date,” they promised recently.

Currently on tour now, the Wobble Brothers will wrap up 2017 with a stop at Insomniac’s Countdown NYE party on December 30 in San Bernardino followed by their performance at the two day NYE Festival Snowta in Minneapolois on the 31st. Not missing a beat, a few weeks later, on February 8th, Ganja White Night’s dynamic stage show with Dirt Monkey and Subtronics hits the road in support of The Origins.
