Gammer Returns with a 90’s Arcade Themed Video for ‘Out With The Old’
UK producer Gammer returns with a nostalgic music video for his latest single “Out With The Old.” 21-year-old Milan based director Carlo Mastrorilli retrofits the single and transforms it into an early 90’s arcade fantasy land with iconic shots of F-Zero, Super Punch-Out, R-Type and basically every classic title on a gamers wishlist.
Previously making his debut with “Premiere Classe Records” with SayMyName’s “Burn”, Mastrorilli has been making big moves with some really outstanding visual campaigns that he recently created for brands like Palm Angels and Moncler.
“Out With The Old” Feat. Sam King starts off with a soothing ambient sound and angelic whispers while seducing fans with an anthemic trance like build only to come crashing down with a monstrous drop. Starting his producing career at the age of 20, Gammer is deeply rooted with hardcore and slowly matured into a melodic bass music monster.
“I guess you could call this song the spiritual successor to the drop. Once again I wanted to put my spin on dubstep, with an emphasis on rave synths and euphoric breakdowns. Combining my happy hardcore roots and love for bass music and turning it into something straight up rowdy!”
Though Gammer released his first single in 2016, it was his 2017 hit, “The Drop” that became his calling card and became one of the most played songs for two years. With the success that he has had musically, Gammer has earned his slot on big performances such as Paradiso, EDC Las Vegas, EDC Mexico, Escape Wonderland, just to name a few. With the support of producers like DJ Snake and KAYZO, Gammer has had the unapologetic confidence to define genres and create something that is truly his own which has led to his rapid success.
