16 Year Old Producer DNMO Drops ‘Hollywood’ feat. Nevve on Deadbeats
Steadily gaining momentum and notoriety beyond his years, precocious 16-year-old producer and classically trained musician DNMO comes into his own with a newly defined signature sound. His latest endeavor “Hollywood” debuts today via Zeds Dead’s imprint Deadbeats, and features vocals courtesy of up and coming singer/songwriter Nevve.
DNMO showcases his low end-focused production through swinging 808s rooted in distinct pop influence. A driving bass line serves as the foundation for Nevve’s breathy vocals and the wistful lyrics. These elements play key roles in creating an infectious hybrid between pop and electronic, led by an upbeat, energy-instilling melody. Alongside warped vocal chops and shooting horns, “Hollywood” foreshadows the exciting projects on the pipeline for the young producer as he enters 2018.
“Working with Nevve was an amazing experience because she has one of the strongest voices in the game right now. We weren’t able to connect on a previous song we started over the summer, so we wanted to figure something out. ‘Hollywood’ was the outcome and I’m extremely proud of the tune. Hope you all enjoy it!” —DNMO
Currently shacked up in the U.K., Aiden Morgan aka producer DNMO currently spends his time pushing the boundaries of electronic music by discovering and combining new cutting-edge sounds with melodic compositions. The 16-year-old multi-instrumentalist has turned into one of the most exciting emerging artists to watch. Aiden’s greatest interests lie within the realms of rock and hip-hop, and he started playing drums at the age of five. His beautiful melodies are often derived from dark, low emotional places he’s experienced over the years. DNMO transforms the pain into a positive artistic creation as one all-encompassing, emphatic live musical production.
DNMO’s 2017 original release “Broken” with Sub Urban has accumulated over 3 million plays worldwide. The success of the track, as well as others have earned him major support from the likes of Zeds Dead, Steve Aoki, The Chainsmokers, NGHTMRE, SAINT WKND, Point Point and Alison Wonderland. Notable radio support for DNMO includes Anna Lunoe on Beats 1, along with The Chainsmokers, Zeds Dead, Steve Aoki, NGHTMRE & Slander, and Alison Wonderland on SiriusXM. As one of Tune Collective’s “60 Artists to Look Out for This Year,” 2018 is set to be DNMO’s breakout year. With volumes of original, cutting-edge music on the way, including an EP and a summer/fall North American tour, keep your eyes on DNMO.
