dEVOLVE & DJ Nesty Drops ‘Bring Ya Booty’

From support by Major Lazer, BBC Radio 1, and Apple Beats, to getting over 8.5 million plays on his recent release “Higher”, dEVOLVE has virtually come out of the blue with his party sound – a sound that picks from genres like moombahton, dancehall, as well as bass – and he’s not coming up alone. On “Bring Ya Booty”, dEVOLVE has teamed up with Grammy winning latin super-producer DJ Nesty. Together they are tackling the dance / reggae / latin market with their latest original “Bring Ya Booty”, which fully revitalizes the 2012 / 2013 moombahton sound into a clean, modern dance floor killer fitting for 2017. If “Higher” is any sign of the traction “Bring Ya Booty” will generate, it’s worth keeping an eye on these two, to say the least.

dEVOLVE made his way onto the scene in March of 2016 and hasn’t lifted his foot off the pedal since. The Miami-based artist’s eclectic sound can be noted for its many influences as it features a spectrum of genres such as big room electronic music, dancehall, trap and hip hop. His debut single “Bubble Gum” featured Jamaican dancehall legends T.O.K. and was signed and released by Jillionaire (of Major Lazer)’s Feel Up Records. Following that up with a string of releases and remixes, dEVOLVE’s music has been supported by influential djs and outlets including Apple Beats 1, Major Lazer, Diplo & Friends Radio, BBC Radio 1 Dance Anthems show, SiriusXM BPM, Manufactured Superstars, DJ Five and Eric Delux. In September he dropped “Higher!,” a club smashing collaboration with Red Rat that currently sees over 7 million Spotify streams, and was named a “Beats1 Banger” by Apple Music while the single continues to receive support from Ebro on Apple Music Beats 1 Radio. By the end of 2016, dEVOLVE was obtaining acknowledgment from Dancing Astronaut, featuring him in their ‘5 Under 5K’ segment. With over 12 original tracks and remixes released in the last six months alone, in addition to his recent joining with the electronic future dancehall collective Flex Up Crew, dEVOLVE shows no signs of slowing down and is staking his claim for a spot on some of next summer’s festival stages.
