Tickets on Sale: CRSSDfest.com
Located in the heart of downtown San Diego, off the Pacific shoreline in Waterfront Park, this is a festival that exceeds all expectations, and this year it’s looking to be massive.
Performances will take place on three outdoor stages at Waterfront Park. The festival is produced by San Diego’s FNGRS CRSD, which staged the festival’s debut in March 2015 and has been on the rise ever since. The production has been ever evolving and maturing, and there is nothing better than listening to music next to the ocean, in gorgeous weather all day and night long. This is quite the experience that music lovers do not want to miss.
At the largest stage of CRSSD, you have the Ocean View stage. You will find a beautiful vista of the large naval ships of the Maritime Museum of San Diego, with performances from Empire Of The Sun, Gorgon City, Ninja Tune’s Bonobo, Little Dragon, The Presets and more. This stage commands audiences to come when they need a melodic break from the beats of the Palms and City Steps stage.
There will also be some of techno’s best-known producers that will play at the City Steps, including Nicole Moudaber, Sasha, grammy nominee CamelPhat, Mark Knight, Alan Fitzpatrick and so many more I am excited just thinking about it! This stage is going to be groovy.
Last but not least, CRSSD’s Palms Stage is always decorated in jungle-esque vibes that make you want to party while bringing in the house music. This year you will find performances from Jai Wolf, Lee Wolf, Lee Burridge and some of Dirtybird Collective’s best including Walker & Royce, Shiba San, and Kyle Watson.
Some things to look forward to at CRSSD that are different from most festivals are DJs pouring up Sake shots at Happy Hour, partnered craft beers, and local boutique restaurants serving up drinks and food all day long, and dancing in water fountains near the bay raging with your best friends. There is something to do every night when the festival is over and San Diego is a city unlike any other. CRSSD 2018 is a festival you do not want to miss.
