Chime Drops Huge New Single ‘Starstorm’ For Free Download

With over 800K streams, Chime is never short on melodic tracks that have have a banger edge. After just releasing his original “Wait For Me,” he is back again with “Starstorm,” showcasing a bit more of an experimental feel than his more colorful releases. Chime’s isn’t limited by sound or tempo, producing releases featuring genres such as future bass, drum and bass, and dubstep, while showcasing his powerful strong synth pad sound with creative drumming signature sound. Symbolically focusing on oval and stripes symbol paired with his young, relatable personability makes him hard not to love – the Leeds-based has more where this came from.

Chime is 22-year-old DJ/Producer Harvey Thompson from Leeds, England, writing dance music with a melodic twist since 2011. Originally producing the UK’s heavily preferred drum & bass genre, Chime gradually came to adopt dubstep and bass music as his primary genres for production – in particular the melodic style popularised by artists such as Xilent, Seven Lions, Virtual Riot and others. A large dose of influence from video game soundtracks and virtual worlds complete the Chime package. Over the years he has been developing his skills, building an expansive audience of fans and differentiating himself from other artists to create a style entirely unique to the Chime name.

Chime works closely and releases with Firepower Records, Kinphonic, Most Addictive Records and NoCopyrightSounds alongside his own label / collective project “Rushdown”, producing tracks across the entire bass music spectrum. Daydreaming of concepts and places to represent with music is common-place for this artist, delivering something exclusively meaningful with each track while still leaving some time to write plenty of harder-hitting and club-suitable material. This is only the beginning for Chime as he gears up to bring his brand and music worldwide.
