Borgore’s fourth installment of his collaboration series covers fans in a filthy familiar frequency with a foreign twist. The suspenseful cravings for sounds that kick-started his career are now over. Borgore brought bro- step back. “Reasons” gives fans a taste of what they’ve been thirsting for since 2010, and this time Borgore has teamed up with Axel Boy to sprinkle a little Bristol on the beat.

The additional vocal control delivered by bad bitch GG Magree blesses “Reasons” with a classic vibe, opti- mally low bravado, and her lustful touch. Borgore and Axel Boy’s hypersonic synths and mid-heavy dubstep initially distort conscious reality, but when GG penetrates ears with her blissfully toxic “wicked type of fairytale,” listeners are launched into a neurotic nirvana with no parachute.

Borgore continues his reign as the boundary busting King, having deconstructed the stereotype of what a musician should be by blending his bass, trance, hip hop and dubstep influences with his compositional edu- cation from Tel Aviv’s world renowned Thelma Yellin music academy. Borgore’s initial standout releases like 2009’s Ice Cream Mixtape and 2010’s Borgore Ruined Dubstep Pt. 1 & Pt. 2 made him an early frontrunner in the dubstep scene.

His decade-long list of accomplishments include heading up his own successful label, Buygore Records, headlining sold out shows to record-breaking crowds at iconic festivals such as Tomorrowland, Made In Amer- ica, Ultra and EDC Las Vegas, a weekly internationally-syndicated SiriusXM radio series ‘The Borgore Show’, and a milieu of collaborative bangers alongside fellow ratchet cohorts like Miley Cyrus, Waka Flocka Flame, and Diplo. Hailed as one of the most mind-melting dubstep artists of his generation, the classically trained producer, songwriter, and DJ’s sonic evolution has been as enticing as his surreal multi-sensory show produc- tions.
